Why I Built This
When I first wanted to learn to code, I had no idea where to start. Every tutorial assumed I knew something I didn't. Every roadmap felt overwhelming. And every time I asked for help, I was met with jargon that made me feel even more lost.
I remember spending hours trying to figure out what "frontend" even meant, whether I should learn Python or JavaScript first, and if I was "too old" or "too late" to start. The tech world felt like an exclusive club I wasn't invited to.
But I kept going. I found mentors who believed in me. I discovered communities that welcomed beginners. And slowly, I realized that the problem wasn't me—it was the lack of beginner-friendly guidance designed with people like me in mind.
SheNav is the resource I wish I had when I started. It's for every girl who's ever Googled "how to start coding" at 2 AM, feeling both excited and terrified. It's for the dreamers, the curious, and the determined.
